VENUE OF THE NORTHEAST REGIONAL MOLECULAR MODELING WORKSHOP

NERMWW is held at the Department of Chemistry at the Amherst campus of the University of Massachusetts (print the MAP or the more explicit directions for the less adventurous traveler, courtesy of Prof. Eric Martz.)

All classes and demonstration labs are held in the Chemistry Resource Center (CRC) in the Goessmann Laboratory building. The CRC is fully equipped for both audiovisual and computer-aided instruction of students from the undergraduate through the post-doctoral level. Recent grants from the National Science Foundation, the Hughes Foundation, and the University of Massachusetts have provided the CRC with a variety of Pentium 200 MHz PC Intel computers, Power Macintoshes, and (most recently) Silicon Graphics Indy workstations. With this hardware, the CRC is well equipped to handle small workshops and moderately-sized tutorial sessions aimed at all experience levels ranging from freshman college students to experienced academic faculty and industrial scientists.
