The chemistry minor requires a minimum of 15 credits of chemistry courses number 200 or higher, exclusive of 291A Sophomore Seminar, 388 Independent Research Project, 391A Junior Year Writing in Chemistry, 396 Independent Study, 496 Independent Research, and 499 Honors Thesis.
Students petitioning for certification of completion of the minor requirements should present a transcript or grade reports to the Chemistry Department Chief Undergraduate Advisor. This must be done during the semester in which the student expects to graduate. The appropriate form is available from several offices on campus, including the Undergraduate Registrar’s Office, 213 Whitmore, Chemistry Undergraduate Office, 149 Goessmann, and the Chemistry Department’s Office of the Chief Undergraduate Advisor, currently 104 LGRT (originally in 701 LGRT).
