Three interconnected buildings (Lederle Graduate
Research Tower, Goessmann Laboratories and the Conte National Center
for Polymer Research) provide spacious laboratory and facilities
accommodations for research and teaching. The Department of Chemistry,
nearby departments, and the National Science Foundation’s University
of Massachusetts Materials Research Science and Engineering Center
(MRSEC) support and provide access to an extensive array of world-class
instrumentation for research and education. Training and technical
support for many of these facilities are provided by Ph.D. level
scientists or directors.
