Senior Awards Dinner-Tuesday,
May 13, 2008
Our tenth annual Senior and Awards Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday evening, May 13th from 6-8:30PM at the UMass Lincoln Campus Center (10th Floor). This year we have almost 40 awards, scholarships, prizes, and honors to distribute! The department has invited all senior chemistry majors, current and newly elected officers of the undergraduate Chem Club, Fall 2007 Dean's List chemistry majors, and, of course, the award recipients, to attend this departmental tradition. We expect a big crowd.
As many students and parents have observed at previous award ceremonies, your presence makes this a memorable time for them and their guests. Many of you know the seniors and award winners well. Please come to the dinner and share in our fun and pride as we honor those chemistry majors who have distinguished themselves.
The cost of the buffet dinner will be approximately $18 for faculty and staff (payable at the door) and their guests. Children of all ages are welcome – their cost will be age-based (but a lot less than $18.00). Please RSVP to Marie Whalen (marie@chem.umass.edu) no later than Friday May 2nd if you (ad guests) plan to attend. Thanks.
