Maroney Wins UMass-Amherst
Samuel Conti Research Fellowship
Bio-inorganic professor Michael Maroney has been awarded a prestigious Samuel
Conti Research Fellowship for the 2005-2006 academic year.
The award recognized excellence in research, and provides a cash
award and a year's leave of absence to pursue research activities.
Prof. Maroney joins Profs.
Vincent Rotello (2003) and Lila Gierasch (2002) as recent Chemistry
Department recipients of this award. (Prof. Gierasch is also a
joint faculty member with the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular
Biology).
